Word to the wise: Don't try to sell (and cook) pretzels in grocery carts. You will be told by the police to pack up and get out. It doesn't matter if said pretzels are $1. Not. Allowed.

Yes, I saw such a sight at Bamboozle Saturday night as I was walking back out into the parking lot.

What else did I see during Bamboozle? Lots of bands but also lots of children. And we can't forget that I saw way too many people (at least 5) wearing those ridiculous slitted Kanye West glasses. Come ON! Does the world follow EVERY stupid celebrity trend just because a celebrity said it was cool?

Too many bands on Saturday kind of sucked it up - Armor for Sleep, Force Family 5, Metro Station (does Billy Ray Cyrus know that his son is in a band and that all the songs revolve around sex and that his son says the f-word a lot?), Story of the Year, and The Audition (don't EVER call your audience "motherfuckers" more than at least once and let it go if we don't want to make a big circle in front of the stage... more singing less talking). Other bands were just so-so: Lydia, The Bravery, and Jack's Mannequin. Bands that were good: Mae (playing as Snake Milk), The Rocket Summer, Saves the Day, Paramore, Jimmy Eat World (we stayed for one song, but I'm gonna go with past experience and assume they were great), Deer and the Headlights, Streetlight Manifesto, and MxPx.

The Pink Spiders were back this year! Did we see them? NO.

Yesterday I tried to go to bed early (9:00) but didn't fall asleep until after 11. Good thing I'm working from home tomorrow and can catch up on that missed sleep.
